Q: How long has Karaoke Keepsakes been in business?
A: Since April of 1999.

Q: How long has "The Power Jock" Fred 3 been a D.J. and Karaoke Host?
A: Since 1974 as a D.J. and 1999 as a Karaoke Host. He's been singing professionally since 1970.

Q: How much do you charge for D.J. or Karaoke services?
A: That depends on a variety of factors. Such as the type of event/venue, the hourly length of the event, location, the need for a hotel room for over nights and difficulity of getting the equipment into the venue (stairs, loading docks and etc.). Most basic parties will average 3 to 4 hours which could be in the range of $375.00 and up.

Q: How much is the charge for only Karaoke or to have it added to the D.J. music?
A: There is No additional charge for Karaoke. It's included in the charge for your party. We just need to know if you want it too. If all you want is Karaoke, the charge will be the same as having a D.J.

Q: Do you require a deposit?
A: Yes. This reserves your date. Your deposit is non-refundable unless we cancel the event, then you will receive your deposit back.

Q: How much time do you need to set up?
A: We would like to set up at least 1 & 1/2 hours or more in advance for sound checks or re-arrangements. Our systems are self contain which is to our advantage time wise and appearance. We can actually have music playing in less than a hour once we are at the location while setting up other equipment around the system.

Q: Do you play requests or play CD's that others may have with them to hear?
A: Yes!! If we have the request...You may hear it next or within the next three songs. If you have CD's with you and want specific tracks played we will work them in the format. We will let you know right at the request if we have the song or not.

Q: Can I bring my own Karaoke disc(s) to be played?
A: Yes!! you may provide your own Karaoke disc(s) to be played. Just place them in the order for which you want them played along with a Karaoke request slip with your name, the name of the song and track number on it.

Q: Can the D.J./Karaoke Host dance with someone if asked?
A: Sure! It's their option. Just allow the D.J. or Karaoke Host enough time to adjust the CD players for the next song, so it will continue to play music for the affair. We hate dead air. (smile)

Q: Can announcements be made by the D.J. or Karaoke Host?
A: Yes. That's a given for the hiring party, but if the request is not from the hiring party then permission must be granted from the person responsible for hiring Karaoke Keepsakes. That includes anyone outside of Karaoke Keepsakes' employees that want to personally make an announcement.
